Information I Collect
When you use the contact form on this site, I collect your name, email address, and the message you send me. I don't collect any other personal information through this site beyond the anonymous analytics described below.
Analytics
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit this site and which pages they view. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't collect any personally identifiable information — visit data is aggregated, not tied to you individually.
How I Use Your Information
I use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry. I don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service, and this site is hosted by Cloudflare. Both providers may process your information as part of delivering their service to me; neither uses it for their own marketing. Both are global companies, so your information may be processed outside Canada — in either case, it's used only to deliver their service to me, not for any purpose of their own.
Data Retention
I keep contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a reasonable business record, after which they're deleted.
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you can ask me what personal information I hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw your consent and ask me to delete it, at any time — by emailing REPLACE WITH BARBARA'S EMAIL. I'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how I've handled your personal information, please contact me first at REPLACE WITH BARBARA'S EMAIL so I can try to resolve it directly. If you're not satisfied with my response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
